About the site

Work Hours Hub is built for the calculation, not the clutter.

A focused collection of free time, work-hour, payroll-time, and business-day utilities designed to give a clear answer without requiring an account.

Last updated August 13, 2026

Work Hours Hub develops and maintains the calculators on this site as one connected utility family. The goal is simple: make common time and work calculations quick to understand, easy to verify, and usable on a phone or desktop.

Focused tools

Each calculator has a distinct task. We avoid publishing dozens of nearly identical pages just to chase variations of the same search.

Browser-first math

The core calculator math runs in your browser. That keeps common interactions fast and avoids sending calculator entries to a server for processing.

Visible assumptions

Editable overtime thresholds, rounding choices, business-week settings, and exclusions are shown instead of being silently assumed.

What Work Hours Hub covers

The site currently focuses on elapsed time, repeated work schedules, weekly and biweekly time cards, decimal-hour conversion, customizable overtime-pay estimates, and business-day math. These tools overlap in useful ways, but each solves a different job.

How accuracy is approached

The calculation logic is shared where possible so the same time parsing, overnight handling, rounding, business-day rules, and overtime math are not reimplemented differently on every page. The project also maintains automated tests for the core calculation functions. Read the exact formulas and tested edge cases on the calculation methodology page.

What the site does not pretend to know

Work Hours Hub does not decide which employment law, payroll policy, holiday calendar, contract rule, tax treatment, or legal deadline applies to a particular person. Where those rules vary, the calculator exposes settings or clearly labels the result as an estimate.

Privacy and diagnostics

Calculator inputs are designed to remain local to your browser for the core calculations. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used for aggregate site usage and performance measurement, and privacy-minimized technical error diagnostics help identify broken routes or browser-side failures. The custom error dataset excludes form values, calculator results, URL query strings, IP addresses, and full user-agent strings. See the Privacy page for the current details.

Why there is no fake expert biography

Utility pages should earn trust through clear formulas, transparent assumptions, reliable behavior, and honest limitations. Work Hours Hub identifies the site itself as the publisher rather than inventing credentials or a fictional author.
